Dear Patients,

After 32 years of dedicated service in Pulmonary, Sleep, and Critical Care Medicine, I have decided to retire from full-time practice as of December 11, 2024. Caring for you has been the most rewarding part of my career, and I have been honored on many occasions to care for your family members as well. Many of you have become like friends, and I want to make this transition as smooth as possible for you.

To ensure continuity of care, I am leaving you in the capable hands of my physician partners listed below. I have full confidence that they will provide the high-quality healthcare you have come to expect.

Fabrizio Monge, M.D., Pulmonary, Sleep, and Critical Care’s Medical Director and Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.

Lohaliz Bobe, M.D., Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

Edgardo Soto, M.D., Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

Jaime Cancel, M.D., Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

Should you decide to transition to an external provider, my office will be available to assist you with obtaining copies of your medical records once written consent is received.

I have always valued our relationship, and I thank you for your loyalty and friendship over the years.

Sincerely,

Carlos E. Maas, MD
